- 2001 NOAA, MRAG Americas. Observer sampling teckniques by Conor Nolan. A bottom trawl groundfish trip May 25-29 of 2001.
- Oregon State University 2006 Pacific Ocean Perch Larva study. Scott Heppel , Emily Washack , and Liz Chilton. Four trips in the spring of 2006 , five trips in the spring of 2007 , one trip in may of 2008 looking for a larger fish by wade smiith.
- Oregon State University 2009 . Kelly Boynet Bird Bearing Sea Copa pod and bird study for 30 days. 132 tows , soundings , and krill samples from 7-14-09 to 8-14-09
- NOAA Rock Fish Maturity study out of Kodiak , AK. Christena Conrath. Three 3 day trips , one in november 2009 , one in december 2009 , and one in january 2010 assisted by Bryan Knotch. Maturity Levels of Pacific Ocean Pearch , Rougheye and Shortrakers , Duskies and Northerns where all sampled.
